⚠️ Common Issues & Fixes

Colors don't match between cameras

  • Re-check white balance (both cameras same Kelvin)
  • Verify both using Log profiles (Blackmagic Film, S-Log2)
  • Use color checker card for post-production reference

Exposure doesn't match

  • Use waveform monitor to compare luminance levels
  • Check ISO settings (both at 400 or equivalent)
  • Verify lighting hasn't changed between setups

Depth of field too different

  • Stop down Sony to f/4–f/5.6 to match Blackmagic f/2.8
  • Accept difference and use Sony for selective focus shots

Footage looks too flat/gray

  • This is normal for Log profiles
  • Will be corrected in color grading
  • Verify you're monitoring through LUT preview if available
